Heavy Equipment Operator - Wet Utility

Responsibilities:Excavates trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewerInstalls trench boxes as necessaryOperates equipment in compliance with Muller's safety policies and OSHA proceduresEnsure proper excavation & compaction procedures are performedEnsures all equipment is maintained by performing daily equipment inspections & grease equipment at required intervalsDemonstrate a working knowledge of underground utilitiesPerforms other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the jobManage quality control and productionTrain team members as needed in a hands-on mannerRequirements:Ability access secured facilitiesAbility to operate large excavators with precisionHigh attention to detailPhysical Requirements:Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen.Other physical requirements include walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
