Healthcare Educator - Community Health Education at Providence Health Care Region The Health Educator is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, instructing, and evaluating the educational programs for the Community Wellness department focusing on health and wellness courses. Provides community health education through presentations, class instruction, information distribution, and working with various organizations. The Health Educator must consistently demonstrate professional performance, and reflect the key moral commitments, ethical principles, values and philosophy of the department and Providence as set forward in the mission statement.

Shift Details: Per diem/On-call, Day shift
Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Community Health, Health Promotion, Health Education, Public Health, or a closely related field.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
1-year Related experience in the health care field and/or education experience with groups and individuals.
1 year Experience with latest trends in health education, self-management, and behavior change including through school curriculum.
Preferred qualifications: 1 year Experience in teaching adult learners.
3 years' Experience with in-person, phone, and web-based behavior change programming.
