Position: Health Safety Security and Environmental (HSSE) Manager
Salary: $65-75,000 based on experience
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM (must be flexible)
Duration: Permanent position with benefits

What's a typical day as a Health Safety Security and Environmental (HSSE) Manager? You'll be:
• Developing, implementing, and measuring the effectiveness of standard operating procedures and policies related to health, safety, and environmental activities
• Establishing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental metrics
• Leading actions and activities identified in the health, safety, and environmental tactical plan
• Ensuring compliance with Federal OSHA & EPA regulations
• Coordinating fire protection and emergency response services
• Performing routine facility safety audits and risk assessments
• Participating in continuous improvement efforts using lean techniques
• Ensuring the site is qualified to obtain and sustain the Nexans EHP label
• Providing and/or coordinating safety training programs
• Keeping abreast of and communicating changes in health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Acting as a vocal and visible advocate for health, safety, and environmental at all times
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a BA or BS in Occupational Health & Safety (preferred)
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental in a Manufacturing environment
• Have training facilitator experience and knowledge of training software programs
• Have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Are willing to flex hours to accommodate training needs on various schedules
