The Health Center & Nursing Services Manager at the Community Health Centers of Benton and Linn Counties is a critical leadership role, responsible for the management, coordination, and evaluation of Community Health Center services at various Health Center sites. This dynamic position involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with health regulations, managing clinic licensing and budgets, and supervising clinical staff. The manager is tasked with implementing quality improvement initiatives, developing community relationships, providing policy advice, and managing special projects. Additionally, the role encompasses supporting and coaching staff, serving as a liaison between patients/families and health center leaders, resolving escalated situations, and improving patient experiences. Responsibilities also include process improvement, program development, project management, data analysis, presentation, and service excellence coaching. The manager works collaboratively across departments to drive change, ensuring departmental compliance with core policies, accreditation, and regulatory requirements. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a preference for experience in nursing and supervision, to effectively handle these multifaceted responsibilities.

Community Health Centers of Benton and Linn Counties (CHC)
The CHC opened as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in 2004. It is the medical home for over 9,000 patients across six clinics and two counties. Our clinics are located in (click on the the link to learn more about each city):
Corvallis, OR Monroe, OR Alsea, OR Lebanon, OR Sweet Home, OR The CHC provides physical, behavioral, dental care, and medical treatment for substance use disorders. The CHC works closely with Benton County Public Health, County Mental Health programs, and school districts at our two school-based sites.
The CHC utilizes the clinical team to support patients in accessing health. We are committed to improving health outcomes through a medical home model with a strong focus on prevention and disease management. The CHC sites are all Patient Center Primary Care Home (PCPCH) certified at a high level. Our organization serves communities with Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) ratings between 10 and 13 and qualifies for National Health Scholars, National Health Service Corps and other Loan Repayment Programs.

The county makes a deferred compensation 457b plan contribution of 3% of your salary! You can add more if you wish. Supplemental plans are available at reasonable rates! Annual salary range of: $84,564.90 to $118,390.69 This position is eligible for up to two salary raises within your first year . Increases may be given at the end of the 6 month probationary period, depending on starting salary and at the 1 year anniversary, as long as your performance is in good standing! Increases are given until the maximum of the salary range is reached. For most employees who take advantage of health benefits the salary only makes up 60% of their total compensation. Minimum Qualifications The following minimum qualifications are required _ for this position: _
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university; AND 5 years of professional experience as a nurse or in a related medical profession, including 2 years of supervisory experience as a Nursing Supervisor or a related medical supervisor. Supervisory experience includes the authority to hire, terminate, assign, reward and discipline other employees. A resume and cover letter are required for this job posting.
