PRIMARY FUNCTION: Serve member by completing account transactions while providing a professional and valuable member experience. Maintain accurate transactional records, providing basic cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.
Also, will assist in scheduling of staff when needed, answer routine to complex questions on products and services, or rules and regulations, assist in cultivating and tracking the member experience, assist with internal controls, but not limited to open/close of the facility, vault, etc, and any other tasks assigned.
PRIMARY DUTIES: Receives share deposits and loan payments in person. Disburses cash or check withdrawal's for members, process Pay-By-Phone transactions, money orders, gift card requests, cash advances for Visa, MasterCard & Discover etc.; Receive money from the Federal Reserve; maintaining records of the same.; Maintains vault cash (change fund), replenish cash boxes daily.; Employee must follow all compliance with BSA/OFAC Policies and Procedures, as well as, any other compliance that pertains to the job position.; Receive share drafts/checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verify amounts, examine share drafts/checks for proper endorsement, and accurately enter deposits into our computer system, scanning and sending through the Check 21 System.; Processes withdrawals from accounts after verifying the members ID, and enter withdrawals into system accurately. Also receive mortgage, consumer loan, home equity, visa payments and any other payments, and ensure the payments match the correct member and account suffix and post appropriate amount to escrow when needed for mortgages.; Responsible for processing cash orders.; Provides routine information concerning credit union services or policy, including; what is the credit union; eligibility for membership, how to apply for membership; type of accounts available. Cross-selling as many products as available time permits.; Provide in person and by telephone general and specific service-related information concerning credit union services. Determines the nature of the member's business and resolves member questions, problems, and complaints or refers him/her to a suitable staff member.; Attends such courses, seminars, programs as will benefit the credit union by increasing his/her knowledge, as authorized.; Attends courses, seminars, programs and workshops that will benefit the employee by increasing his/her knowledge.
