SUMMARY:
Anticipated openings for HCM Peer Coach positions, with an emphasis on working with Special Services. Coaches provide peer observation, feedback, and coaching for tenured staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This class specification lists the major duties and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive. Conduct coaching cycles, which include pre and post meetings Support teachers in goal setting and reflection meetings Attend bi-monthly peer coach meetings Participate in Collaborative Meetings Attend training and staff development required for the position. QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Seven years teaching experience State of MN Licensure in field of expertise Up to a five-year commitment to the position Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge and application of instructional and classroom management best practices Willingness and ability to work closely with staff on professional growth PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
