Role : Hardware Design Engineer
Location : Waukesha, WI Key Words: Hardware Design engineer, Analog, FPGA Design, Mixed signal, with VHDL coding, Model based Design, Hardware design and testing. Medical Background is preferable with ECE Background. Role Summary Description: This role will be responsible for the development and testing of digital control systems used within a Magnetic Resonance (MR) system. The candidate will leverage knowledge of digital design techniques and communication standards to ensure a quality product. This is not a remote position given the nature of lab work is expected for candidate to execute in person.
Job Responsibilities Hardware design engineer who has Good design knowledge in Microcontroller, Analog, Digital design especially FPGA design with coding is added advantage Mixed Signal design and test experience Develop VHDL code to support FPGA-based designs; be proficient in simulating and debugging design in code and on circuit board Select hardware and material, assuring compliance with specifications and product requirements Write detailed functional specifications that document newly created designs and support product introduction. Test and verify hardware to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements, by recording and analyzing test data Model, build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with simulation Propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline 2~3 years of experience Circuit board design and troubleshooting experience Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Must be able to work onsite at our Waukesha, WI location Preferred Qualifications: Strong oral and written communication skills. Masters Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical) Strong interpersonal skills
