Responsibilities
• Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities• Implement cost savings and safety initiatives• Maximize efficiency of assembly line workers• Develop fabrication processes for internal tooling and external vendor support• Lead teams to resolve production and product issues• Identify cost-effective material handling and facility layout alternatives• Generate quote estimations and compile accurate quotes• Source new materials and vendors• Coordinate client projects and ensure timely delivery• Support design and development teams in optimizing production model
Requirements
• Expert in BIW (Body in White)• Experience in paint, metal, 12V electrical, and general assembly• Proficient in industrial production and researching methods• Experience supporting scale production of high-quality new products• Mechanical Engineering experience (a plus)• Must understand DFx• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus)
