Job summary
The Division of Extension and Engagement and the Extension 4-H Youth Development Program are seeking a 4-H Program Coordinator.This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.This position will serve Yamhill County and will be based at the Extension Yamhill County Office in McMinnville, Oregon.

Responsibilities
• Manage a diverse portfolio of educational programming that meets the needs of youth in Yamhill County.• Use best practices in positive youth development to ensure high-quality educational programs with intended outcomes.• Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, youth, volunteers, families, and community partners.• Oversee all 4-H programming and supervise volunteers in project areas.• Ensure compliance with regulations related to youth protection, fundraising, taxation, and nonprofit status.• Contribute to regional and state educational team efforts.• Use digital communications and engagement tools and systems.• Promote and market to adult and youth audiences.• Work with diverse populations in a culturally responsible manner.• Adapt to the changing technological environment.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as youth development, education, leadership, or communications.• Demonstrated experience teaching, designing, and developing educational programs.• Strong written and oral communication skills, including mass media.• Commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity and inclusion.• Proficiency with computers and ability to learn and use digital communication tools and systems.• Ability to successfully work with adult volunteers and manage volunteer programs.• Ability to interact successfully with youth.• Ability to plan, organize, evaluate, and manage programs.• Ability to work independently and as a team member.• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, travel, and work in various environments.
