Responsibilities
• Ensure every guest is greeted and welcomed upon arrival in a unique and personable way.• Book guest hotel reservations and register guests, verifying reservation and personal information.• Answer calls, route messages, and promote the brand loyalty program to guests.• Anticipate and respond to guests' needs in a timely and friendly manner.• Assist in resolving guest complaints and handle cash transactions during shift.• Maintain accurate records, process market transactions, and handle confidential information.• Provide guests with information regarding hotel facilities and local attractions.• Maintain market inventory levels and restock when necessary.• Handle mail and other electronic communication and assist in handling guest complaints.• Maintain high integrity when handling guest records and confidential information.
Requirements
• High School Graduate or GED required.• Knowledge of front desk operations, guest services, and hotel services.• Proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending English.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.• Ability to handle customer service problems and work in a fast-paced environment.• Mathematical aptitude, cash handling procedures, and knowledge of cash register systems.• Genuine care for customers and employees.• Comfortable conversing with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
