Basic Groundskeeping duties: Helps maintain equipment: mowers., trucks, plows, etc. Helps trim trees, bushes, as needed. Caring for and cultivating foliage including planting, fertilizing, weeding, watering, trimming and pruning, soil conditioning, mulching and applying pesticides. Follows direction well and can execute with minimal supervision. Can perform daily lawn care to include: watering, raking, blowing leaves and mowing. Can safely operate all equipment-(or be trained)- mowers, blowers, weed eaters, saws, trimmers, bobcat, Lift. Follows safety guidelines for spraying chemicals and pesticides. Takes good care of all equipment. Good Teamwork. Listens well and will take direction from multiple managers/employees. Good Attendance/ Punctuality/Reliability. Can perform snow removal with shovel and/or other equipment as needed. Follows organizations Policies & Procedures. Education and Experience: High School degree or equivalent. Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues quickly. Good communication skills. Valid driver's license. Must have own transportation. Have own tools. Physical Demands: Must be able to move, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift 75 lbs. Must meet the general health required by this facility. Must be free of illicit drugs. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that provide for accommodations of these senses. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and move supplies and equipment.
