Animal Medical Center is looking for full time grooming assistant for our grooming department.  The schedule would be Monday - Friday (some holidays would be needed in the kennel department).  The hours needed are between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (or depending on number of grooms for the day). WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF A GROOMING ASSISTANT?
As a grooming assistant you will continue to establish excellence in pet healthcare by:
Perform baths, nail trims, and brush outs as trained by our groomersEnsure that grooming dogs are walked throughout the day and the grooming room is clean and disinfectedFacilitate receiving grooming dogs for the groomerWork closely and respectfully with other team members in the veterinary practice ensure a positive client experienceWHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

Willing to learn and grow in the grooming departmentExcellent customer service skills both written and verbalLove people as much as you love petsAble to stand for long periods of time, be able to lift up to 50 pounds and more assistedPreferred skill is previous bathing experience, however, it is not required
