Granville Site Controller Job ID 61655 PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Granville S&T Site Controller provides controls and process leadership across the primary Science & Technology (S&T) site, as well as support to satellite S&T sites within the US.  This individual will also be closely connected to the Granville Site Operations team and will be responsible to lead their forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.  A key skill will be the ability to collaborate with and guide multiple S&T teams in both the corporate and business operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain effective financial controls Ensure there is an effective and efficient system of internal controls, including asset protection, segregation of duties, alloy control, and adherence to corporate policies (GAAP, SOX compliance, etc.). Maintain a clear tone regarding business conduct, ethics, the law, and financial controls. Solve controls issues at the "root cause" and create broad organizational learning.Continuously improve controls processes and documentation standardization/efficiency.Raise all issues of significant risk and non-compliance to the Financial Leader.Provide controls education to others across the site. Influence performance Influence the performance of the site through collaboration and indirect influence.Provide decision support through financial modeling and business case analysis.Evaluate financial implications of specific business decisions/opportunities and advise management accordingly.Participate in the development of strategic and operational objectives that are aligned to company strategic objectives.Create a strong partnership with the site Purchasing team, local Corp FP&A team, and Site Operations.Model curiosity and seek continuous improvement. Create accurate forecasts and other reporting Lead the Granville site-wide and US S&T satellite site capital processes.Lead the Site Operations planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Provide consolidated site and US S&T reporting.Provide ad-hoc reporting on key site information.Create and optimize reporting for internally used site-wide data. Leadership and development Live the Safety stand, adhering to safety responsibilities.Model and embed an inclusion mindset and practices that enable an innovative and inclusive environment.Participate in the continuous improvement of systems, tools, and methodologies.Inspire teamwork across finance and other functions to maximize company performance.Act as a role model for self-growth, development, and conduct.Be a resource to non-financial leaders by teaching financial acumen and business information. JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field..  
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 3 years of controls, finance, or accounting experience in a large, multi-national corporation.A minimum of 1 year in controls related experience is preferred.Progressive experience in a manufacturing or corporate environment.Understanding of controls and financial analysis.Demonstrated process focus and organized work style.Functioning in a highly matrixed structure across functional, business, geographic and cultural boundaries. Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement process improvements. Developing business cases and enrolling leaders at all levels in taking appropriate action.Experience with SAP/equivalent ERP, Business Information, and Business Objects EPM or similar systems. Demonstrated rate of growth and success in prior roles. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong financial and controls acumen. Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) skills. Distills multiple points of view and inputs to develop near and long-term actions. Effective communication and listening skills.Attentive to details in own work output as well as other stakeholders.Can successfully form and then respectfully share candid and sometimes unpopular messages. Must be a self-starter, be an active participant on teams, and proactively meet with internal or external customers to meet their needs. Must be able to manage many projects simultaneously and prioritize workload appropriately. Must be able to respond easily and quickly to shifting priorities. Highly motivated and results driven with a high energy level, has a bias for proactive action. Can teach and communicate in simple, impacting terms.Gets others to open up, offer information, and share points of view.Domestic travel is rare, but may be required a few times per year. *LI-NM1
