THIS IS A CONTRACT TO HIRE POSITION AND IS FULLY REMOTE. In this role the individual will be the subject matter expert on military specifications (MIL-Specs). The individual will need to know military procedures and respond to their clients for definitions of certain Mil- Specs. The individual will also need to be knowledgeable of the following: MILSTRIP, MILSTRAP, MILSBILLS, MILSPETS, MILSTAMP, MILSTEP DoDAAD, MAPAD.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Apply extensive technical expertise with full knowledge of other related disciplines.Communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.Perform work without appreciable direction.Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long- term perspective, for desired results.Represent the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects.Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Must be a US CitizenBachelor's degree in engineering with 7 years' experience with government contract.Logistics Systems Design and Development ExperienceCommunication Systems Design and Development ExperienceData Information Systems Design and Development ExperienceExperience on military logistic and transportation specification to the respective MIL-SPECStrong problem-solving skills to determine solutions to user interface challengesMulti-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksAbility to obtain and maintain Government Security ClearanceIf you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
