Government Consulting Sr Professional Special Projects Manager What does a successful Special Projects Manager do at Fiserv ? Fiserv Government Solutions Special Projects Manager reports to the Project Manager to provide Operational Verification and Validation (OV&V) services to the State of Indiana Division of Family Resources (DFR) which administers state human services programs. The Special PM is responsible for driving complex, high priority, projects or component phases of larger programs within the project and a ccountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Responsibilities include consulting, project management, client satisfaction, people management, strategic planning, vendor management and new business development.
This is an onsite position in Indianapolis with a minimum of 3 days in office . What you will do: Lead the Special Project Team to the successful, on-time delivery of the work products and deliverables associated with this project while meeting client requirements, delivering on budget and meeting all client expectations detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW) .
Lead and manage tasks, assign tasks to staff, monitor work and ensure quality.
Contribute to the development of the Monthly and Quarterly OV&V Reports
Participate in client meetings and present project status
Identify issues and suggest recommendations
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
What you will need to have: Five (5) or more years of experience as a manager or equivalent education and skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and skills
Knowledge of state social services programs (SNAP, TANF, Medicaid and Health Coverage)
Must be able to plan and facilitate presentations and client meetings and guide the OV&V and client Teams in developing required deliverables and work products.
Capability and willingness to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, shifts in direction and priorities, both from a client and internal perspective
What would be great to have: Knowledge of Indiana Eligibility programs, policies, and systems
Experience in Indiana case eligibility determination preferred
State or federal government experience
Ability to research and knowledge of State and Federal Policy
