Responsibilities
• Lead the execution of capital projects according to scope, schedule, and budget• Manage the team responsible for executing projects• Provide technical and project management oversight• Ensure timely resolution of project issues• Implement safety measures in project execution• Implement company initiatives in projects and business processes• Achieve company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)• Prepare and review monthly project performance reports• Anticipate and plan for changes in project scope, timing, or costs• Ensure appropriate training and development for employees• Oversee and review incoming and outgoing correspondence• Maintain proper job records for all assigned projects• Negotiate agreements and change orders with contractors• Guide and direct team members in This Company standards• Take responsibility for project development• Review reports on contract status, project costs, and schedule• Review project schedule and monitor progress• Uphold engineering ethics and maintain professional behavior
Requirements
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering• Obtain a PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification• Fifteen years of experience in project management related to refining and petrochemical industries• Seven years of experience as a Senior Project Engineer or project manager• Possess engineering design and construction phase experience• Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles• Mastery understanding of international procedures, best practices, and This Company standards• Mastery understanding of contract documents, project execution plan, and project schedule• Mastery understanding of scheduling principles and recovery methods• Demonstrate dynamic attitude towards project improvements and savings• Flexible to work in multinational teams and mobilize to different locations
