We are currently hiring a Global Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our team! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to design, implement, and manage the global compensation and benefits programs for Rho. You'll work with leadership in the People Team and ensure the total rewards programs are aligned with Rho's goals, are equitable and competitive in the industry and provide a comprehensive wellness and support system to attract and retain talent.
This position is a remote position to be located in North Carolina.
Analyze the current compensation and benefits programs and recommend improvements or changes based on market trends, best practices, employee feedback and organizational needs. Participate in appropriate competitive salary surveys and benchmarking studies to determine pay levels and ranges for different positions and locations. Develop and maintain job descriptions and salary structures Administer all compensation and rewards programs, including but not limited to annual salary review, bonus programs, recognition program, promotion processes, and equity reviews. In collaboration with members of the People Team, develop effective communication programs and trainings to build understanding among managers and employees of program design, use, and administration. Review, design and implement a global benefits framework for all European employees based on country laws, regulations and best practices. Work with benefits brokers and other vendors to design and administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and employee assistance programs. Negotiate with vendors and brokers to obtain the best rates and services for benefits plans and monitor their performance and quality. Participate in Rho's US-based healthcare and retirement committees. Manage Open Enrollment for US benefits. Support monthly benefit invoice reconciliation. Ensure compliance with health and welfare related notifications and required reporting. Educate and advise employees and managers on the compensation and benefits policies and procedures and resolve any issues or queries that may arise. Prepare and maintain reports, budgets, and records related to the compensation and benefits programs, and ensure accuracy and confidentiality. Stay updated on the latest compensation and benefits trends, laws, and regulations, and ensure the organization's compliance with them. Collaborate with other human resources professionals and departments to support the organization's strategic objectives and initiatives. Attend in-person meetings as required Exhibit Rho's Core Values at all times Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients in a timely and professional manner Respond to email and other communication requests in a timely fashion using a variety of methods including but not limited to email, instant messaging and other communication tools Ability to maintain confidentiality Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. At least three years of experience in compensation, including experience with job descriptions, salary structures, equity analysis, and compensation survey completion and use. At least three years in benefits administration or management, including knowledge of ERISA, FMLA, ADA, ACA and other US benefits and employment regulations. Experience with US Affirmative Action Plans preferred. Global benefits and compensation experience strongly preferred. Data analysis skills using software systems Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and other human resources software and systems. A few more things to know about us:
