Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Glaze Line Manager to join our TEAM! As the Glaze Line Manager, we need someone who ensures quality control and process audit functions are met within the Quality Management system. Drives continuous improvement projects in the areas of green waste, recovery, shade control and application defects
Primary Objective
Plans, organizes, and leads glaze line production operations.
Major Function and Scope
- Plans and oversees work to meet production and quality requirements while making effective use of labor, material, and equipment 
-Directs supervisors and associates to maintain operating efficiency
-Evaluate the selection of new associates in the hiring process.
-Conducts training on new procedures and oversees new hire training
-Ensures operations and within specifications
-Establishes, maintains, and analyzes budgets, records, and other controls to keep costs at a minimum, consistent with efficient operations
-Ensures safe and healthful working conditions and an organized work environment.
-Coaches and reviews the performance of direct reports 
Experience and Knowledge Required
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree preferred. Requires knowledge of safety policy and procedures Ability to read/write English Basic computer literacy Knowledge of ceramic manufacturing and quality standards preferred. 
3 or more years of operations experience and 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience. Ceramic tile industry experience preferred.
