Gis Developer

Develop geographic information system programs, products, and tools to support City Divisions.
Create/maintain internal GIS web portals using real time and historical data. Provide programming, technical, hardware and software support for various GIS systems internal web mapping applications, analytic support of GIS data, special GIS based projects, GIS programming, and working with other agencies to share GIS data. Develop and administer focused web applications using ArcGIS Online and existing web portals. Manages GIS data, maintains data quality, contributing to the design and maintenance of the GIS database which will include data editing and quality control. Manage multiple GIS related software systems and servers, create data gathering methods and support GIS sharing with other agencies. Create and maintain assigned layers, geospatial datasets, and related data. Compile and integrate data from various sources and convert non-GIS data formats into usable GIS data. Prepare GIS application program modifications and documentation, including needs analysis and database design.
