Responsibilities
• Full responsibility for quality installation of the project• Review submittals for accuracy and compliance• Identify potential change orders• Customer relations• Conduct weekly safety meetings• Attend cost/job reviews• Schedule manpower and hire workers• Interpret plumbing and HVAC drawings• Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functions• Perform material take-offs, order tools, materials, and equipment• Coordinate installation between trades and sub-contractors• Ensure on-site employees comply with OSHA standards and Bernhard work rules• Schedule equipment deliveries and inspections• Administer construction contract• Monitor labor reporting, job cost reviews, and prepare timesheets• Bring the job in on time and under budget
Requirements
• 10+ years superintendent commercial construction experience in Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC large projects• Experience in mechanical construction of large projects $10+ million• Well versed in the industry and company's competitors• Effective communication and management skills• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple ongoing projects• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary
