We are growing the team, forging the first adventures in LEGO Fortnite, blending the engaging and welcoming Fortnite universe with the creativity and playfulness of LEGO.In this role, you willExperiment with game design and use rapid prototyping while ensuring that strong architectural and algorithmic decisions are madeWork closely with art and design to create and iterate on gameplay featuresPrototype and iterate on features and be willing to accept and respond to critical feedbackSupporting technical excellence on multiple platformsOptimize and fix bugs in existing gameplay systemsContribute ideas toward all aspects of the game's production and developmentWrite robust, maintainable codeWhat we're looking forExperience developing games professionally, and shipping AAA titlesA keen analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skillsStrong C++ skills and the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and toolsWell versed in games and the ability to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing games (an interest in online games is preferred)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsConsole experienceExperience working on a live service gameSelf-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independentlyCreativity in problem-solving and the ability to think outside of the established solutionsEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEOur intent is to cover all things that are medically necessary and improve the quality of life.
