FULL TIME DAY NURSE NEEDED FOR 7A-7P Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital, newly constructed in 2018 - state of the art facility conveniently located at 9938 airline highway in the heart of the city at the intersection of I-12 and Airline Hwy. Job Responsibilities: Assesses new patients within 8 hours of admission Provides individual nursing care as ordered by the physician Manages medication administration including monitoring and storage daily Participates in interdisciplinary formulation of individual treatment plans Dictates and writes progress notes for one to one & group sessions in accordance with policies and procedures Assists in coordinating risk management activities to reduce or eliminate patient/staff/visitor injuries, illnesses, death, and/or financial loss Completes and signs necessary admission paperwork and other required documentation with guidelines mandated by law and applicable hospital policies and procedures Skills Needed: Organizes and prioritizes work while being cost-effective and conserving resources Able to work with multi-disciplinary team Organized and self-disciplined Thorough documentation Utilizes listening skills that indicate understanding and promotes accurate interpretation of other's concerns, motivations, and feelings Works toward resolution of interpersonal conflicts as they arise Education/Experience/License required: Registered Nurse.
