We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to join our team. As a PCU RN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to care for patients who are in need of specialized monitoring and intervention.
Responsibilities Provide nursing care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit Monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms and other vital signs Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Respond to changes in patients' conditions and take appropriate action Assist in the coordination of patient care and discharge planning Document patient information accurately and timely Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols Stay current on nursing practices and participate in professional development opportunities Requirements Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years, 2 years of RN experience Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit setting Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment Current BLS and ACLS certifications Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software If you are a dedicated and skilled Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse, we encourage you to apply for the position with NCG Associates.
