Everything we do, we do in the service of our community.Position OverviewAs theFulfillment Associateat Daily Harvest, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fulfillment processes and maintaining strong partnerships with our parcel carriers and fulfillment centers. Yourattentionto detail,proactiveapproach, andexpertisein logistics will contribute significantly to optimizing supply chain efficiencies and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.What you'll do:Review and approve invoices from our fulfillment centers, dry ice suppliers, and parcel carrier partnersEnsure accuracy and compliance with our financial processes and promptly resolve any discrepanciesPlace purchase orders for dry ice and dry packaging to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize disruption to the fulfillment processPartner with Strategic Finance to ensure we have a long-range dry ice and order forecasts are shared with our fulfillment center and dry ice partners to establish planning on their behalf to successfully manage demandEstablish and nurture strong relationships with parcel carrier partners to ensure seamless coordination and reliable delivery servicesMonitor daily parcel performance, track delivery metrics, and promptly address any areas of concern to enhance delivery speed and reliabilityHandle order processing inquiries and concernsReconcile order fulfillment for Amazon and Shopify test orders within NetsuiteTackle various ad-hoc requests related to operations with a proactive and results-driven approach, effectively addressing challenges as they ariseCollaborate with relevant teams in project managing supply chain-related projects to drive continuous improvement within the organizationWho you are:Ability to analyze data related to fulfillment operations, including invoice details, purchase orders, and delivery metrics, to identify trends and areas for improvementProficiency in using analytical tools or software to extract meaningful insights from logistics dataClear and effective communication with internal teams, fulfillment centers, dry ice suppliers, and parcel carriers to ensure smooth coordination and resolution of any issuesAbility to articulate logistics concepts and requirements to team members and stakeholders with varying levels of expertiseProven track record of effectively addressing operational challenges and resolving issues in a fast-paced environmentAbility to think critically and propose creative solutions to improve supply chain efficiencies and enhance customer satisfactionWillingness to adapt to changing priorities and evolving business needs in a dynamic startup environmentAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and achieve organizational goalsDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Planning, Strategic Finance, Logistics, and Operations, to drive alignment and achieve shared objectivesWillingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive work culture characterized by teamwork and mutual respectThe anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000.
