Job summary
Mountain Veterinary Hospital is searching for a 4th doctor to join our incredible team!We are looking for a veterinarian who fits our practice philosophy and is looking to make Bellingham home.Experience is preferred, however, we are also open to new graduates and early career doctors.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional veterinary care in Bellingham.• Contribute skills and passion to promoting the health and well-being of pets in the community.• Collaborate with a supportive DVM team and talented support staff.• Conduct conventional medical and surgical treatments, as well as physical therapy, rehabilitation, acupuncture, stem cell/platelet rich plasma therapy, and Chinese herbal medicine.• Offer pro-bono orthopedic surgeries in partnership with the local humane society.• Build excellent relationships within the Bellingham community.• Participate in a structured mentorship program.• Stay up-to-date with professional development and attend continuing education opportunities.• Ensure the well-being of patients and provide recommendations for their care.• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients.
Requirements
• Previous experience as a veterinarian is preferred.• Open to new graduates and early career doctors.• Ability to fit into the practice philosophy.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Passion for promoting animal health and well-being.• Knowledge of conventional and alternative treatment methods.• Ability to collaborate with a team and mentor others.• Willingness to stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine.• Valid veterinary license or ability to obtain one.• Commitment to providing exceptional veterinary care.
