The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine (CFWH) provides management and consulting services to healthcare providers in the area of wound care and hyperbaric medicine. By focusing on the needs of the patients as well as the partners we serve, The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine is able to bring advanced wound healing strategies to many communities around the country. This position is located in Englewood, CO inside of the Swedish Medical Center.

Job Overview at Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine LLC:

As an integral player on the multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the front office. This position is responsible for registering patients, answering phones, greeting visitors, administrative support for physicians and managers including tracking and maintaining reports, patient and provider scheduling, insurance verifications, and assisting in the overall success of the clinic.

Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of wound care and hyperbaric staff/patients. Includes, but not limited to, timesheets, patient transportation, charge entry, daily tracking, and insurance and billing documentation.
Maintain communication with referring providers - physicians, podiatrists, nursing facilities, homecare agencies, etc.
Oversee appropriate patient discharge, follow up and onward referrals.
Supports Program Director/Area Director with sales and marketing initiatives.
Assists management with staff scheduling.
Appropriate use of hospital resources, including ordering of supplies and equipment.
Entering of daily facility/professional charges where applicable.
Exhibit commitment to quality as defined by company and hospital partner's mission and vision, the Joint Commission, and/or UHMS for certification requirements. Maintain goals in highest level of quality and safety at each center.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications for This Role Include: 2+ years of experience working in an outpatient medical clinic.
Previous experience with hospital registration highly desirable.
Previous experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Patient scheduling and insurance verification experience required.
Valid BLS certificate from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Must possess the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
Must possess the ability to multitask.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Positive background check, negative drug screen, and hospital credentials (as needed) required.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by a Front Office Coordinator to successfully perform the essential competencies, duties, and requirements of this position. These include standing, walking, driving, lifting up to 50 pounds and sitting for extended periods of time. In addition, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting and shifting heavy objects, as well as air travel, may be required. Employees should ask for assistance if needed.
