Front End Software Developer Or Full Stack Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
As a Front-end Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in building responsive web applications for a long-term project. This 95%+ remote work position is based in the vibrant Bethesda, MD area.
Requirements:
Proven work experience of at least 2 years as a Front-end Software Developer, showcasing expertise in building responsive web applications using Javascript and Typescript technologies.
Strong familiarity with advanced Javascript techniques, including object-oriented programming/classes, and closures.
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
Experience with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates using AJAX and RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and similar integration patterns.
In-depth understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and effective workarounds.
Knowledge and experience in using continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) and build/deploy automation (e.g., Elastic Beanstalk, Docker).
Experience integrating markup into server-side templating technologies, especially Velocity.
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Ability to document requirements and specifications.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Java/Spring/Hibernate for complex multi-tiered web applications (Java back-end).
Proficiency with ActiveMQ and messaging technologies.
Proficiency with SQL/relational databases.
