Waterstone Resort Marina, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel, managed by Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Front Office Supervisor to join our team! JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times. Anticipate and exceed guest expectations.Assign specific duties to staff for efficient operation of department.Assist in training new associates and cross-training existing associates.Assist in interviewing and hiring new associates for the department.Promote teamwork and associate morale. Treat people with respect. Recognize associate successes.Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and ensure staff responds appropriately in the event of an emergency. Assist Emergency Response Team as necessary. Knowthe locationand use of fire extinguishers.Monitor daily status of rooms, rates, discount rates and packagesMaintain current list of available rooms forwalkCoordinate blocking of roomsCheck printed registration cardsagainstinformation on arrival report and rectifies any discrepanciesEnsure prompt and courteous service to guestsPre-register guests according to standardsComplete and monitor employee scheduleMonitors VIP arrivalsNotifythe MaintenanceDepartment of any maintenance issuesKeep track of rooms to ensure accurate status and readiness for check-inHire, coach, and discipline direct reportsInteract positively and professionally with guests to resolve issuesDemonstrate knowledge of EEO policy, Fair Employment Practices and Fair Labor Standards Act. Promote a harassment free work environment.Act as Manager on Duty as requiredPerform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectivesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

In-depth knowledge of 'Full-Service' hotel Front Desk operations, preferably in lifestyle /or upscale environments - Hilton preferredBasic math skillsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingStrong leadership skillsAbility to exceed expectations of guests and team membersExcellent time management skillsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Ability to multi-taskTeam playerWork nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.Ability to exceed expectations of guests
