Job Overview:

As the Front Desk Supervisor you will support the General Manager in effectively managing and operating the community to enhance the property value and resident experience. Contribute to strategic initiatives, financial operations, vendor management, and building positive relationships with residents.

Compensation:

$50k annually

FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Your Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in managing the business affairs of the community and ensuring compliance with governing documents and policiesMeet with General Manager regularly to ensure completion of open action itemsCollaborate with the General Manager and Board of Directors to establish and execute strategic initiatives for the communityWelcome guests in a warm and friendly manner and answer questionsAnswer and direct phone calls in a polite, friendly and professional mannerReceive deliveries; sort and distribute mail and packagesCoordinate and supervise community maintenance activities, ensuring proper upkeep of the property, common areas, and amenities. This may include conducting property walks to ensure proper safety and upkeep of the building and amenitiesSupport vendor management, including contract negotiations, monitoring of service quality, and compliance with terms and conditionsCollaborate with the General Manager to address resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests, ensuring a high level of resident satisfactionAssist in planning, organizing and attending Board meetings, annual membership meetings, and other community eventsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as community association governing documents and policies including CC R's, bylaws, rules and regulationsMaintain calendar of amenity usage and ensure proper paperwork and documentation is recorded for clubroom, board room and event terrace reservationsFoster positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff, promoting a sense of community and teamworkStay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to community management.Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, vendors and team membersStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, capable of addressing issues proactivelySelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervisionExceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyAdaptable and flexible, capable of adjusting to changing demands and prioritiesDemonstrates a proactive mindset in identifying and addressing issues before they escalateEducation and Experience:

CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) certification is a plusAdditional education and certifications in property management or related disciplines are desirablePhysical Requirements:

Sit or stand for extended periods of time in an office environmentAble to safely lift, carry, and move up to 30 poundsWork Location : Residences at 2211; 2211 E Camelback Road Phoenix, AZ 85016

Work Hours:

Monday – Friday, 7a – 3p with some evenings and weekends as needed.
