Responsibilities
• Anticipating guests' needs and responding promptly• Maintaining positive guest relations at all times• Resolving guest complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction• Maintaining knowledge of hotel features/services, room rates, and daily group activities• Processing guest check-ins, verifying registration information• Handling overbooked or 'walked' guests• Accepting and recording wake-up call requests• Communicating pertinent guest information to departments/personnel• Resolving discrepancies on the room status report• Training in Food and Beverage operations
Requirements
• Previous experience as a front desk agent or in a similar role• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training• Experience working at a hotel establishment (highly desired)• Proficiency with computers• Basic math skills• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor• Ability to use property management system and/or points-of-sale system
