Responsibilities
• Greeting, welcoming, and directing residents and visitors• Notifying LANL personnel of visitor arrival• Maintaining building security• Answering inquiries and referring them to appropriate parties• Answering the telephone and scheduling meeting rooms• Coordinating logistics, scheduling, and announcement of complex meetings and conferences• Networking effectively with key contacts• Using Microsoft Office to produce advanced documents and presentations• Providing administrative services and activities• Making purchases and keeping records for reconciliation reports
Requirements
• Demonstrated ability to calmly manage interruptions and changing priorities• Effective interaction with internal and external personnel• Expert-level organizational and communication skills• Experience working with people to coordinate schedules• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ability to interpret data• Knowledge of administrative services and activities• Minimum of 5 years related experience• Additional business school training or Bachelor's degree preferred• Experience meeting customer/project needs resulting in flexible work hours• Willingness to be assigned to on-call status• Experience coordinating badging, registration, catering, venue set-up/tear-down, and transportation
