Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. As a CFO for hire, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of multiple client corporations with varying needs for financial leadership. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic financial guidance, preparing insightful reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive short-, mid-, and long-term financial strategies.
- Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks.
- Provide support to stakeholders in making strategic decisions by offering valuable financial insights.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and develop actionable financial plans in coordination with various levels of the organization.
- Generate accurate financial forecasts and establish operational metrics to track performance.
- Oversee accounting and finance functions, including financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and internal control development.
- Recommend enhancements to accounting policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Advise on capital management optimization strategies to maximize returns.
- Foster relationships with clients' executive leadership and management to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
- Identify and mitigate business risks and manage insurance requirements.
- Assist clients in their hiring efforts to build high-performing teams.
- Cultivate strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and external stakeholders to facilitate capital access.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- Eight to ten years of progressive experience in financial management.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex tasks effectively.
- Experience in the agricultural industry preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Flexible and forward-thinking mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
