PURPOSE:Barrick is looking for an engaged, inquisitive and passionate Growth Superintendent at the burgeoning world-class Fourmile project. This position will own and drive the Growth strategy to ensure delivery of the drilling to support completion of PFS/Feasibility studies, while owning and updating the geologic models, in conjunction with their team and partners in Exploration. The successful candidate will be expected to enthusiastically lead and develop a team of geologists responsible for creating and executing holistic drill programs that fit with the Barrick-wide Growth and Life of Mine strategy. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of direct leadership experience, with a demonstratable performance history of delivering high-value geologic projects to mining. Ensure development plans are established and maintained for all employees. Drive regular field interactions and core logging by the team.Regular interaction with all site departments to communicate strategy and to create strong working relationships.Delivery of LOM Growth Strategy in collaboration with Exploration with consideration of mining strategy and broader Barrick strategy.Create balanced resource triangle and advance projects from conceptual to indicated status.Drill program and budget creation and management of multimillion dollar program.
