Professional Pump, a division of Crane Engineering Sales, LLC., is a dynamic organization located in Belleville, Michigan. As we continue to expand, we're seeking a dedicated Outside Sales Account Manager to join our team and contribute to our growth.
Role Overview
The Outside Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional service to both new and existing accounts within a defined market. By promoting Professional Pump products and services, you'll play a key role in achieving our sales targets and maximizing gross profits.
Key Responsibilities
Foster a collaborative and team-oriented environment across Sales & Operations.
Partner with the sales team to understand customer needs and promote product solutions and services effectively.
Support sales efforts by expanding outreach to both new and existing customers, aiming to exceed sales objectives.
Develop the sales territory by offering technical guidance to customers in selecting equipment, parts, and services tailored to their requirements.
Focus on equipment sales and provide product recommendations to customers, seeking input from the Sales Team when needed.
Independently generate quotes, estimate prices, negotiate contract terms, and ensure timely delivery.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitive products to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Demonstrated sales experience or related product knowledge (1-2 years minimum).
Strong enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
Proven ability to engage in cold calling and prospecting for new business opportunities.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Capacity to build and maintain relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
Proficient troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
