Job summary
A highly skilled Account Manager/Project Manager position at a top commercial flooring companyResponsible for specifying products and installation services for specific projectsPresenting products/services to architects, designers, and other end users
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Actively prospecting for and developing customers• Working with suppliers, architects, designers, building owners, facility management, and general contractors to choose products within budget• Cultivating relationships within target markets• Giving presentations to clients to educate them on flooring, installation, and maintenance• Ensuring accurate system requirements and paperwork throughout the project• Overseeing project management in the field
Requirements
• Previous sales experience, building science/construction management, or advanced commercial floor installation experience• Knowledge of the commercial floor covering industry and products• Previous experience selling in a comparable industry preferred• Bachelor's degree in marketing, building science, construction management, or business preferred• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motorized vehicle• High School Diploma/GED required
