Responsibilities
• Actively prospect for and develop customers• Work with suppliers, architects, and designers to choose products within budget• Cultivate relationships within customer target markets• Give presentations to educate clients on flooring, installation, and maintenance• Ensure accuracy of system requirements and paperwork• Oversee project management in the field• Coordinate with internal staff to solve problems and ensure proper installation
Requirements
• Previous sales experience or advanced commercial floor installation experience required• Knowledge of commercial floor covering industry preferred• Previous experience selling in a comparable industry preferred• Bachelor's degree in marketing, building science, construction management or business preferred• Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints• Must have a valid driver's license• High School Diploma/GED required
