• Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements• Collaborate with sales representatives to understand client needs• Utilize industry software and tools to generate precise and competitive estimates• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability information• Review architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements accurately• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotes, and proposals• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders• Stay updated on industry trends
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Flooring Estimator or similar role in the flooring industry• Strong knowledge of different flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices• Proficiency in using estimation software and tools to generate accurate estimates• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills• Solid understanding of construction documents• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills• Effective communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
