Job Description:

The Phoenix Taproom & Kitchen, the Midwest's largest self-pour taproom located in downtown Eau Claire, WI, is looking for a Floor Captain to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Floor Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a fantastic and memorable experience at The Phoenix Taproom & Kitchen. While not responsible for supervising employees, you will be the point of contact for guests seeking assistance with our self-pour tap system, cocktail bar, and culinary offerings. Your primary goal is to provide exceptional service, answer questions, and create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our patrons.
Responsibilities: Guest Engagement: Greet and engage with guests as they enter the taproom, making them feel welcome and comfortable. Offer assistance and recommendations for beverages and food options.Taproom Assistance: Educate guests on how to use our self-pour tap system, including explaining the process, providing assistance with pouring, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.Cocktail Bar Support: Assist the bar staff with drink orders, preparing garnishes, and ensuring a well-stocked bar. Knowledge of cocktail basics is a plus.Culinary Guidance: Familiarize yourself with our menu and be able to answer questions about food options, recommend pairings, and communicate guest preferences to the kitchen.Guest Safety: Monitor guest behavior and intervene if necessary to ensure a safe and responsible drinking environment. Familiarity with alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service is essential.Cleanliness: Keep the floor area clean and organized, clearing empty glasses and dishes promptly.
