Fleet & Distribution Manager

LaSalle Network is partnered with a family-owned and well-established gas manufacturer in the Greater Chicago Area on a Fleet & Distribution Manager opening. This role is newly created and is the perfect opportunity for someone to manage a fleet of drivers, have a seat on the management team and maintain an efficient operation.  Fleet & Distribution Manager Responsibilities: Develop and strategize plans to optimize distribution operations to meet customer demands Coordinate transportation of customer orders from production facility to customer sites efficiently Manage a team of 9 drivers and 13 delivery vehicles Schedule maintenance and ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are followed by fleet Implement quality control measures to ensure safe handling of transportation for compressed gas and liquid  Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, GDA and other industry-specific standards Fleet & Distribution Manager Requirements: Bachelors' degree OR 5+ years of experience in fleet/distribution management Experience managing DOT regulations Experience managing OSHA guidelines a plus  Ability to collaborate with management on customer needs and overall business success If you're looking for a Fleet & Distribution Manager role with a reputable brand and strong cultured organization, please apply today!
