Job functions include the following:
-You will perform structural firefighting duties for a variety of facilities.
-You will perform airfield firefighting by involving air traffic or support operations where hazardous conditions are.
-You will operate a variety of firefighting equipment.
-You will perform hazard and risk assessment techniques in completing initial incident analysis.
-You will initiate established medical protocols in providing basic life support.

Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

This is a bargaining unit position.
You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
You will be required to wear a uniform and use all safety apparel in accordance with established policies and procedures.
This position requires the employee to work under adverse environmental conditions and will fall under the respiratory protection program and hearing conservation program.
Position requires the ability to discern colors, contrast, and depth.
You will be required to be certified and maintain certification in CPR and First Aid.
