Financial Services Associate Location Memphis, TN : Campus Location Main Campus (Memphis, TN) Position Number 010565 Category Staff (Hourly/Monthly) Department Housing & Residence Life Minimum Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree in relevant field and two years (2) of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience maybe substituted for the degree requirement. Special Conditions Preference for candidates with Banner experience and degree in Accounting. Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Work Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule Posting Date 12/13/2023 Closing Date 01/02/2024 Open Until Screening Begins No Hiring Range $35,000 - $40,000 per year Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time: Benefits Eligible Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. No Positions Supervised Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Additional Position Information Benefits of Employment (Applies to full-time, non-police employees only) Job Duties Duties & Responsibilities Revenue Management, responsible for all aspects of revenue management, which includes but is not limited to, student account charges, adjustments, and reconciliation; Utilizing StarRez occupancy management software, Banner and other department/university systems; Occupancy reporting and audit management, as well as revenue components of monthly and yearly closing reports. Duties & Responsibilities Student Account Communication, the main point of contact for student accounts within the Department of Housing and Residence Life; Meets with students and addresses student account concerns; monitors and responds to emails sent to the departmental housing email inbox and develops and sends all appeal committee decision communications. Duties & Responsibilities Department Revenue Communication works closely with campus partners on student billing structure and timelines; Collaborates with the Housing and Residence Life assignment staff; Verifies occupancy and student resident eligibility to live on campus; Attends departmental meetings and may have the opportunity to serve on departmental and university committees. Duties & Responsibilities Conference Housing and Internal University Billing, serve as a point of contact for department conference housing payments andtransfer vouchers; Work with Conference and Event Services staffto verify payments; Collaborate with the Business Officer and Assistant Director for Residence Life to develop conference housingrevenue reporting. Duties & Responsibilities Housing Agreements, assist with the management of all housing agreements of Housing and Residence Life managed properties including but not limited to residence halls, off-campus partnerships,Sorority townhouse agreements and rental properties; Communicates contract information with student and campus partners; Collects and analyzes data for the Housing and Residence Life appeal committee.
