The Financial Analyst is responsible for the oversight over the capital expenditure process and tracking, monitoring of operating expenses and inventory for a number of plants, tracking of plant cycle count procedures and overall general accounting functionalities. A strong level of financial ownership and accountability is required to ensure appropriate financial controls and results are achieved. An improvement mindset and high intensity for achieving great results is required.
Essential Functions: Capital Expenditure Oversight DocuSign approval and GL project setup Obtain status updates from capex project managers and lead monthly capital update call. Closing of capital projects with GL. Ownership of SAGE fixed asset tracking software. Update of a quarterly PPE roll forward. Approval of lease invoices and updating of related GL accounts and lease tracker Plant Controller Oversight Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting of operating expenses In-month monitoring and review of operating expenses and communication with plant leadership. Month-end accruals, review, and analysis of operating expenses. Review of inventory adjustments. Participation in monthly P&L review call. Inventory Oversight Cycle count tracking and oversight for entire Company. Participation in Corporate-lead spot counts of inventory at various warehouse locations. General Accounting and Finance Responsibilities Assist in the monthly closing process ensuring accurate and timely reporting including month-end journal entries and preparation of account reconciliations. Analyze financial results and track performance versus budget. Assist in the coordination of the preparation of annual budgets. Assist with the preparation of information as part of the annual audit. Assist in the daily tracking of the cash management function. Serve as a key back-up for other team members during PTO, parental leave, etc. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field 2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or corporate setting Continuous improvement mindset and track record of leading and supporting multiple projects. Strong systems understanding including ERP and MS Office Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in written communication. OPEN
