Role Overview
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Consulting division. This is a remote opportunity, open to candidates located in the eastern or central time zone. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial aspects of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop startup budgets for new SUD treatment programs, including Residential Treatment (RT), Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP).
- Forecast financial outcomes, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow projections.
- Establish operating cost budgets for new facilities.
- Conduct Monthly Budget vs Actual Variance Analysis.
- Assist with Revenue Cycle Management.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Provide regular reporting on census and key performance indicators.
- Offer insights on accounts receivable and chargebacks for new facilities.
- Determine revenue streams through reimbursement rates from various payers.
- Create annual budgets for behavioral health/addiction treatment programs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in finance, accounting, or business (health administration).
- Experience with insurance reimbursement rates (commercial insurance and Medicaid preferred).
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting.
- Experience in revenue cycle management is a plus.
- Track record of budget development and management.
- Minimum of two years of experience in accounting and/or financial management; healthcare experience preferred.
