Financial analyst will support operational and financial management personnel in the analysis and reporting of business activities. The position delivers analysis as part of the financial process, linking financial results to operational performance drivers Job Responsibilities Prepare financial statements for consolidation. Analyze financial statement components. Perform general ledger account and bank account reconciliations. Participate in budgeting and forecasting by building budget schedules. Provide support in month-end closing, productivity calculations, and profitability reporting. Gather, compile, analyze, prepare, and summarize data for projects such as planning, formulating, and defining performance plans for short and long-range goals. Reconcile intercompany accounts payable and receivable, netting and requesting payment as applicable. Assist with reconciling statutory and global books. Design XLConnect templates to capture financial data and make reporting and analyzing more efficient. Supply decision support through financial modeling and management reporting based on financials. Produce in-depth analysis on variances to plan, forecast, and prior year. Evaluate financial implications of specific business/decisions/opportunities and advises management accordingly to ensure targeted performance achievement Protecting themselves and their co-workers by adhering to all company safety & health policies Participating in safety program activities Identifying hazards in the workplace and reporting them to their supervisors Exhibit exemplary attendance Comply with company policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or Experience: 2 to 4 years' experience in accounting or a related area Other: An equivalent combination of education and experience Additional Skills And Requirements Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to groups of employees Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
