SUMMARY
The Finance Analyst position will assist in the analysis of real estate investment properties or projects, which is expected to include the following: industrial warehouses, suburban office, multifamily, senior housing, hospitality, retail repositioning, townhomes, single family homes, condos, residential land entitlements and other types as the Company continues to diversify. This individual will have strong financial and written communication skills and prior analysis experience as a Real Estate Investment Analyst.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare periodic reforecasting of investments using ARGUS, Excel
Review and analyze actuals to budget to forecast
Review cash forecast and present recommendation in meeting.
Uploading proformas and loan information for acquisitions
Upload new leases and loan agreements
Reviewing legal and loan agreements for lender compliance, waterfall calculations
Review and analyze leases and rent rolls
Create loan draw request packages
Business analysis including hold/sell analysis
Assist the finance, accounting and other RCS teams with other duties involved in acquiring and supporting the Asset Management of Commercial assets.
Work with Business Development to enhance automated processes
To be able to perform the job, this individual will have the following:
Strong financial skills and experience underwriting commercial real estate assets.
Proven Excel, Argus Enterprise, writing, and communication skills with sound judgment are a must.
QUALIFICATIONS
We anticipate this position will be demanding; therefore, we seek candidates who are:
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (or related work experience)
One – 4 years finance experience
Excellent MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, communication, and writing skills
Proficient in Argus Enterprise software
• Experience in Commercial Real Estate investment.
Experience with TM1 or other database software a plus
Driven and ambitious
Self-motivated
Creative and highly analytic problem solver
Strong research skills
