The Position
Mansa Medical, LLC is looking for a Finance Manager
to join its leadership team of entrepreneurial professionals that oversee this ever-expanding, high-performing business. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting needs of the business, including all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cash management activities, payroll processing and administration.
Reporting to a Co-Owner, the Finance Manager will possess strong communication, financial and analytical expertise as well as familiarity with current financial platforms, i.e. Quick Books Online. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized leader of best practice and automation implementations that sustain scalable business operations.
Objectives
Produce comprehensive, sound financial reports that support short- and long-term business strategies, including improvement of operational efficiency and expansion of business channels
Influence financial culture by developing, implementing and maintaining company-wide financial controls, policies and guidelines
Achieve budgeting goals with leadership of proper analyses and corrective actions
Maximize financial operational efficiencies through innovative process developments in budgeting, accounting, payroll and financial reporting
Responsibilities
Maintain hands-on knowledge of all financial aspects of the business including daily deposits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, other assets and liabilities
Perform the monthly financial closing process, reporting and analysis in accordance with established time requirements and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Develop internal controls that effectively maximize protection of company assets
Maintain internal safeguards with secure, organized records for revenue receipts, costs, and organizational budgets and actual expenditures
Understand all financial processes, reporting and compliance requirements, keeping current on financial best practices and regulations
Improve financial performances of the business by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to leadership team and supporting implementation of process/practice improvements
Oversee the management of company's capital expenditure and fixed asset records
Continuously improve the company's financial control systems
Work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of changing products and responsibilities
Communicate effectively with all employee levels and promote a team approach
Serve as key financial contact between Mansa Medical, LLC and its accounting firm.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A minimum of one to three years of professional accounting experience, such as a controller, assistant controller, finance manager, senior accountant or senior financial analyst
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
Ability to work onsite in a small team and collaborate with internal and external professionals in a hybrid on-site/remote work environment
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and Quick Books Online
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Professional certification, such as certified public accountant, chartered accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst
Experience in managing payroll with focus on streamlining accounting processes
