We are seeking a Finance Director to join the Project & Development Services (PDS) Finance team in Chicago, IL or Atlanta, GA (hybrid work). The role will support the Americas PDS Portfolio Clients, Services & Industries organization. As part of the finance business partnering team, we provide data, insights & reporting to support business leaders with business planning and decision making to drive both revenue and bottom-line margin growth.
Our ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, solid technical finance & reporting acumen, great attention to detail, drive for process improvement and problem solving, solid leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset. We are looking for a self-starter who is interested in growing in their finance career, team development and building a partnership with the business and operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide data, insights & reporting to help business planning and decision making, including identifying drivers that move margins through value-added reporting & analysis
Lead development of annual financial plan and rolling forecasts
Produce pipeline analysis & conversion metrics to enable accurate revenue forecasting
Drive improvements and enhancements in reporting, analytics, and dashboards to support business leadership decision making and implement best practices related to various ad hoc analyses
Demonstrate high level of customer service with business leadership and operations
Develop monthly financial packages and performance metrics for leadership including trends, business drivers, variance analysis, and updated outlook
Enhance and improve OnePDS process as key to driving PDS integration and growth for Work Dynamic clients and industry verticals
Collaborate with PDS finance counterparts in Canada, LATAM, EMEA and APAC on Global PDS data & reporting requests
Manage and mentor staff with ability to effectively delegate, prioritize, and support team's professional development as well as task manage offshore analyst support
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA and/or CPA is a plus
Minimum 15 years of related work experience; minimum 5 years of direct management experience
A highly motivated self-starter who works well independently and is a strong team player
Demonstrated technical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Tableau, IBM Planning & Analytics, Peoplesoft, and Oracle EPM is a plus
Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong written and oral communication required including presentations for internal business leads
Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and establish priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and evolving matrixed organization
