Finance Analyst
Location: This position is remote, with the requirement that the selected candidate resides in the continental United States and can maintain Eastern Standard Time core business hours. Occasional travel to the corporate office in Akron, Ohio is expected on a quarterly basis.

Role Overview
As a Finance Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving our enterprise towards its purpose, vision, and profitability targets. You will proactively identify business questions, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of key business information, identifying insights and trends to advise business leaders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
Financial Leadership: Provide financial leadership to enterprise-level initiatives, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and presentations to senior leadership.
Data Synthesis: Extract and synthesize financial and operational data from company databases to generate meaningful business analysis.
FP&A & Strategic Finance
Forecasting and Budgeting: Partner with leadership teams to create accurate forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.
Performance Evaluation: Analyze operating results and forecasts, evaluating performance against budgets and longer-term trends.
Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks and opportunities, providing perspective on potential outcomes of decisions.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related quantitative field required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in accounting, analysis, or finance function required.
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau preferred.
Supervision/Coordination
- Act as an analytical lead on cross-functional teams.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
