POSITION PURPOSE:  Responsible and accountable for established machine and shift productivity, quality, and yield requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates assigned film department machine(s) in compliance with established current Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operation Procedures, safety requirements and other regulations.Responsible and accountable for established productivity, quality, and yield requirements.Recommends productivity, efficiency, quality and safety improvements to management.Performs and documents operation in compliance with Batch Records, SOP's, and any other required documentation.Complies with all company policies.Works in a safe manner.Checks work for accuracy.Participates in training as needed.Completes additional tasks and projects as assigned by management. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of a High School degree or GED. JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be organized, thorough, and self motivated.Strong ability to prioritize tasks, and handle multiple tasks.Ability to follow written instructions. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: cGMPSOPs and HACCP as required.All PPE Safety as required.Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.Machine operation for film machines, line, solution, slitter. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Heavy physical effort required.Must be able to lift 55lbs throughout the shift.Continuous mental and visual attention required.May be trained and required to operate a forklift.Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend and walk about the building. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: All required PPEDust masks as required.Safety Glasses.Lab Coats.Gloves.Hair nets.Hearing protection as required. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works in a powder processing manufacturing facility with moderate noise. OTHER: Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
