IntroductionCome join our TekConnect Field Services Team which provides technology support and services to Anywhere Corporate, Anywhere Advisors and Anywhere Integrated Services! The team is responsible for supporting over 1,000 offices and 70,000 agents, employees, and contractors.Position SummaryA Field Support technician provides remote and/or onsite IT support to Anywhere customers and offices. In addition to supporting business-as-usual activity, field technicians provide support for both national and local IT projects and initiatives.Responsibilities Include:Provides general IT support and Computer hardware/software installationAV Equipment and Print and multifunction device installation and support.Support for both national and local projects and initiatives.Performs special projects as requested by supervisor.Data closet installation and management.Installation and support for all equipment managed by the Anywhere NOC and Anywhere Telecom.Employee and Agent onboarding / off-boarding support.Local onsite office support in the form of break/fix visits, and tech days.Assists engineers in debugging issues as need arises.Creates and updates Knowledge Base articles.Resolve issues in a timely manner and keep customers informed and update the ticket tracking system.Ensure customer satisfaction with every interaction.QualificationsEducation / Experience:Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent 2 years' experience with the following:Basic network, Internet access, and wireless technology installation and troubleshooting.Microsoft Office, Windows, (installation and troubleshooting).MAC OS and Apple products (installation and troubleshooting).Solid grasp in all Microsoft Products including (Office, Office365 applications, SharePoint, Teams, and Yammer).Basic understanding of networking and TCP protocol.Ability to install & troubleshoot operating system, software, hardware, peripherals and resolve hardware conflicts.Ability to balance multiple priorities and possess a high degree of flexibility.Ability to take initiative and work well under pressure.Good interpersonal and communication skills. Communicates clearly and concisely, with an appropriate awareness of the intended audience.Solid team player with excellent Time Management, Problem Solving skills and ability to work independently.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift computers, printers, and monitors up to 50 lbs.Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer keyboards and mouse as well as other computer components.Ability to travel to branch offices by individual's own means of transportation and a valid driver's license while carrying tools\\equipment and spare parts.Overnight stays may occasionally be required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions!#LI-LG1#LI-RemoteExciting News:EEO Statement:EOE AA M/F/Vet/DisabilityCompensation Range:$55,000 - $60,000; At Anywhere, actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
